LENAH VALLEY RSL HAS A NEW PATRON
Service Member John Opie OAM was appointed Patron at the AGM held on Sunday 28 June 2020. Some brief details about John are as follows:

Spent 28 years in the Regular Army
Served in Vietnam
Awarded the National Medal on 14 July 1977
Completed service back in Tasmania at Anglesea Barracks
Manager of the Army Museum post service & instrumental in securing the Cameron Collection for the museum
