Tennyson Harold Cairnduff, known as “Tiny” was a resident of Newtown and enlisted in the army on the 20 August 1914, at Brighton Camp. He was 19 years old and was allocated to the 12th Battalion, A company, which embarked from Hobart, on board A2 ‘Geelong’ on the 20 October 1914.
