“During the World War 2, Alice served in the Australian Army Medical Women’s Service.


She joined the Lenah Valley RSL&A Women’s Auxiliary in May 1977 and since then has been a dedicated worker for all functions connected with the RSL.


Alice, along with her late husband, Joe, was one of the many who helped with raising money to build these Club Rooms.


Alice has held office as Vice-President. She has also carried out voluntary duties at the Repat Hospital Day Club for 16 years.”
